Although probably not the case with the Marcello C's there are times when a Valjoux 7750 is used to power "time only" watches. I think Panerai is on that has done this.. Not sure of the reasoning though.

They (Panerai) use the 7750 to have a running small seconds,"9" eater, and a date function on some models.

You are correct, my PAM104 has the Valjoux 7750 with the chronograph module. Very robust movement and allowed Panerai the use of the sweep second hand at the nine. I am however pretty certain that the C's don't use the Valjoux but more likely a ETA2824.

For what I know is that the dude have a YouTube channel where he review watches,knives and guns. In one of the videos that he made, he was criticized by all the viewers, after that he went nuts. All this happen in the last week or so.
