Samsung Watches

Post by Darksider on Sun Jun 19, 2011 12:50 am

Samsung watches which is presently known as SWC Co. Ltd. came into being in 1983 with the vision of creating analog quartz watches that will be as good as the authentic Swiss watches. Since its birth, this Korean watch company has shown its integrity as a high quality watch. SWC Co. Ltd. was aided by Samsung in the field of finance being the latter’s subsidiary company, while it obtained technical assistance from the reputed and premier watch brands, Longines, being the business partner under technical license, and from Seiko since the SWC Co. Ltd is its partner in the two’s joint-venture business.

Samsung watches are outstanding both in the arenas of design and technology which made the watch brand the leader in its home country. The continuous efforts to work better and cut a niche in the global watch market have been the main motivation for the company. Apart from these principles of this brand, it emphasizes on certain values like customer satisfaction and excellent management. The company promises to meet its customer’s each and every demand ranging from an offering of watches of the highest quality to answering every minute detail regarding the brand’s timepieces. The transparent management of the watch brand has pushed the employees of SWC Co. Ltd to work harder and better.

Since 1986, Samsung watches have been exporting their creations abroad under the brand names SWC, BURETT, KAPPA AND HAAS & CIE. The timepiece brand produces one million pieces per year.

Yes, Samsung money, funds Burett in Switzerland .. contrary to what the article stated, Burett is entirely Swiss made in partnership with and or using patents from Technologies Piquerez (TP patents were used in the Omega Moon Watch) and is exported from Switzerland, not Korea .... excellent watches I may add, here is my Continent.

GTFOH. Really?

Pretty fair fan of Samsung products, but had no clue they had a hand in Burett. I'll be dipped in shit.

Learned something today after all . . . thought it might have been a loss otherwise.

. . . gratuitous quartz wrist watch photo . . .

Bingo on the 251 Eddie. I like the hell out of this watch, one of only a couple of chronos I still wear.

I've got a Neo Icon which I like okay but it's a little more dressy than most of my watches so it does'nt get worn very often.

I clearly remember very much liking both of you guys' Buretts when aired a few years ago. Still like them.

Burett is a nice brand. Mrs. B's example with an ETA 2824 does not keep good time - loses about 10 seconds a day despite being regulated multiple times
