I saw in one of the watch rags there was a guy in England doing something similar. And interesting aftermarket idea for the well-heeled collector since, unlike Strom Thurmond, Rolex doesn't do black.

Looks like the fashion TV watch influence - crayola colors and all.

I agree the colors are "look at me". However, that blacked-out Milgauss with green accents would interest me (and I've never been a Milgauss fan).

Wow, talk about cheap looking!! I am a rolex fan but those rainbow ones are hideous (looks like Walt Disney threw up).

And I thought my black/orange Planet Ocean was over the top.

Would rather have a nice Black Rubber Strap on the red, then it might grow on me a little more. Just don't like the powder Blue color at all, but that's just how I see it.

I must admit, I did'nt look at the link so all I saw was the OP pics. It answers the question, what would the LE Sponge Bob DSSD look like?

To me, this is how to make a real timepiece into a funny looking clown watch. However, in this poor economy a bright clown watch is what the younger folk want to wear. They goes so well with tatoos, body piercings and crayon colored hair. So to make a buck or two, there are people who will give the well-healed young folk what they want no matter the cost.

And to pay for these high-end timepieces made to look funny? Heck, just slap it on the credit card.

Wont be long before The Wino is yapping about Pro-Divers in the same color schemes. Going on about attention to detail and all that garbage.

I guess I'm a loner on this one. I like the high contrast looks of the new Rollies. :nosethumb:

I had to look twice to realize those WEREN'T something Eyal & Co. was hawking. I'm not impressed, even though I've thought for a while that I would like to see at least a small nod to what are becoming the standard sizes for a lot in the industry, something between 42-45mm. I guess the bright colors will attract the attention of kids that expect mommie and daddy to buy them all the new shiny toys. Can't get used to the idea of a Rollie on a nato either.
