Curtis & Co Swiss Made Quartz watches... 2 new models.. and Videos..

Curtis & Co has now released some of there new 2011 models watches.
These are BIG BOLD watches which are Swiss made. Let me know what you
think of them in the category of LARGE QUALITY QUARTZ watches. I usually find my customers either LOVE them or HATE them.. its about a 50 / 50 mix.. but when a customer asks for a VERY LARGE sized watch and they want a quartz that is of decent quality the choices go pretty slim.

I visited a friend in CA who wore a Curtis and Co watch with one of the most ridiculous complications..a thermometer. We all spent the better part of the week making fun of him.

Seems like a brand trying to cash in on the name of Jacob & Co.

Well, if I ever need a BIG BOLD watch, especially a LARGE QUALITY QUARTZ watch, I'll certainly know exactly where to search for that particular VERY LARGE sized watch that I crave.

Mrneddles - yes the first generation of Curtis & Co World watches were 57mm diameter (talk about a wall clock on your wrist) and many had a thermometer... which is really completely useless. Curtis & Co has come along way in quality since these first watch models.. which is one reason why I like the company... Curtis listens... I mean he really listens and has been working on tuning in the the quality of his watches from the feedback he has been getting.

So how's the surf at Dana Point this morning??...........

You know I am an east coast guy so when I moved out here and tried to surf... I caught a wave and almost got myself killed. I remember an old timer paddled over to me on a board and asked if that was my first time. I said yes and he told me i had some set of balls on me... lol (that day there was over 120 lifeguard saves in Laguna Beach area due to extremely large surf). Since then I decided I will stick to motorcycles for my adrenaline rush.. So to answer your question I don't know... but it looks a little calm out there.

lol....ok.....thanx for the report....I grew up in San Diego and often went to Dana Point. It was one of my favorite breaks.......

Surfing. The only break I would see would be the board or my neck. I like the water, though I prefer diving to suicidal attempts to ride a toothpick on top of a tempest.
