BAS and LOKES
Ordered this strap from BAS and LOKES in the land down under on June 26 and it came in today. Took about 3 weeks to get here. This "Bastian" strap comes in 4mm thickness. I asked if they could thin it down a bit and Bas replied he had some of this leather in 3.5mm thickness. Great communication and I felt like the price was right. I give these guys 2 thumbs up. Now I can wear this STOWA!

Nice look. It is amazing what a nice strap can do for a watch.
I looked up the site and they have some very nice straps at good prices. Thanks for sharing the site and your new strap.

Good choice DB! It compliments the bauhaus look and adds to the vintage feel of that era.

While both the strap and the Stowa are the shit, DB, I really can't agree that they look great together. I think the Stowa needs a strap a little more refined-looking than the Aussie one, like a lizard or maybe an oiled black leather.
Of course, I'm probably the last guy in the universe to be offering fashion advice, so carry on!

I like it and like B&L. Bought a strap a couple years ago, reasonably priced, tell them what size to make it, very good quality leathers. Unfortunately I never wear mine as I sold the watch it was intended for!

My thoughts precisely. My PAM would look WONDERFUL on a nice thick strap like that, but I see the STOWA as a fairly elegant piece, worthy of either a very plain leather or preferably an exotic.
But I take any opportunity to buy a croc or Alligator, so what do I know?
If you like the look (and black dial with brown strap is always very cool), then enjoy it!
