I have an idea, return it to where you bought it. Just a thought.

That's a shame, it's a beautiful watch.

I bought it in Paris and I am not in France any more ...

that would be the simplest solution...

Yup. Contact Longines CS and start bitching like hell. This could be a very expensive repair (there's no such thing as a cheap repair on a 7751) and Longines, if everything is as you say, should make this right.

If it was bought from an AD it should be free. It does suck that you got it like this brand new. Maybe if you bitch enough, they'll cover shipping both ways.

I do think though, that it is simply the hand being loose and nothing with the movement.

I smell something rotten here; this same guy's posted the same question in three different watch fora (here, WUS and WatchTalkForums) regarding this same issue. He's also gone to the trouble of posting a Youtube video (with helpful subtitles) showing the issue.

If he'd gone to the trouble of googling "international longines customer service number" and using the drop-down menus to put in his country, he'd find the toll-free numbers (in the USA, it's 800.897.9477) and probably have the watch taken care of as we speak.

Just sayin'.

Why is it rotten? I am from Serbia (Europe) and there is no official Longines CS in our country.
I will ship it, but that will cost me around 300$ ...

Anyway, i needed some thoughts about my problem from experts...

Thanks anyway.

While I think it sucks that a brand new watch is broken, I don't think it's serious. Any watchmaker should be able to reset the hand.
