Deep Blue Tritium Tube Watches

Post by Kumusta on Sat Nov 20, 2010 4:00 pm

I have seen some Deep Blue Trititum Tube models on TV recently.

Can anyone attest to the quality of these watches? The models I saw had Miota automatic movements.

I am considereing adding a Tritium Tube watch to my collection.

I just got my first DB and ,while not a tritium model, the quaity and service were great.
I've never had a problem with any of Stans straps either.

Keeping in mind that , they are a few different Tubes ...most popular are the T25's and the T100's and it is a big difference in lume between the two.

I ordered - and returned the same day it arrived - a Deep Blue with the T-100 tubes. Killer lume, decent watch. But too big for me.
Sad really.

I have the T-25 Tubes and the Lume is just fine for me, I grab it when the Sun goes down almost nightly. I got used to it and like it for the dark nights and taking the dog out. The DB's I think are a great divers watch but I'm more into the Sports watches but still want a few Divers Avai. to me and the DB are it for pretty much just for the extra service u get from Stan.
I've heard some complaints about the T-100 Flat Tubes not being bright enough, and seen pics and they deffinately don't look as bright as the T-100 Thin Tubes, but not seeing it in person I can't really say for sure. But for me the T-25's are just fine for what I need, but I'll probably get the T-100 Tube watch also, but don't know about the flat yet, actually like the thinner Tube better regardless of the lume.

I have the DB AP Diver and love it. The CNC milled case is sweet for the price ( under 180.00) I put it on the DB Rubber links band, it's one of my go to watches all most every day lately. Very good Lum, nice and brite.. and it has a Seiko Quartz movement, I have a pulsar with the same movement and it runs perfect as well, so I thought I would try out one of the DBs and am glad I did.

I've tried only their T100 offerings.
Lume and Tubes outstanding for all

T100 Pro - Nice watch, too large for some @ 48mm, most were disappointed by the 8215 inside - me too.

T100 Pro-Ops: Also 48mm, also 8215, fit/finish not as polished as the Pro. If I was to let one go this would be it.

T100 Flat Tubes: By far better fit/finish than the above, 2824 inside, 44mm (and wears smaller).
@boscoe: Give this one a try.
