I'm on the fence about the Sumo. Sumo versus Sammy actually. They both look great, not sure which I'd prefer. I'll have to venture out and try some on.

Sammy is a good watch Noob, but it really ain't shit compared to the Sumo. From case to the bracelet. And the 6r15 in the Sumo is hands down FAR better. . . get a Sumo, you can flip 'em quick for almost the same as you pay . . .

I think that might be the best way to choose. Hard to see how it fits and feels let alone how you like it over-all from a video.

Can't compare them Noob... two very diferent watches, the Sumo is years ahead, the 7S26 is a crude movement compare with the Sumo's 6R15, the rest of the watch is much better finished also.
As a side note, the Sumo is going up in price, both pre-loved and new.

Sumo is great, but too large for me at 45 mm. hence i sold mine

I sold mine. It seemed a bit top heavy with a 45mm case and a 20mm bracelet.
The movement is,however , leaps and bounds better than the 7s26/36.

Not me. I'm holding back for a bit. I'm trying to keep my eye on the ball, and the ball right now is a Dievas Voretex. I do love the Sumo though. I can't understand why Seiko doesn't get with the times and at least increase the size of their bracelets to 22mm????? I see Foggy's point with a 45mm Case on a 20mm bracelet.

+1 on the bracelet being 20mm. It took me bit to get past that admittedly. It wears well for me, but I did expect a tapered 2mm-20mm.

The word's always been they did that to put in the "dress diver" feel. I even got an Anvil for mine to see if it would change up, not so much.

The bracelet gave me pause before I purchased mine but last week, I had to leave town suddenly for family business and the watch I had on my wrist was the Sumo and it worked quite nicely with a sport coat/slacks. And it is comfortable to wear. I love it.

Dig my Sumo! Polished the bracelet and has an upgraded Sapphire crystal (hence the blue tone of the crystal at an angle).

Agree that 20 is narrow for the case from the aesthetic point of view, that been said ...the bracelet is excellent!!! not top heavy for me but if looks is a problem try a Hirsch-Extreme-Rubba

My other minor gripe is the lack of crown protectors... an awesome watch overalll, can't beat it in that price range.
