I love the new colors combos for the new Seastar but overall i have always loved the older one!
Im not sure but also believe that the new crono is the cheaper swatch movement...

It's kind of hard to pick between the two. The new one really takes some queues from UN (IMO). Both are classics though.

The old one is a classic - clean, original (not an homage) and the real deal as Swiss Made at a great price. A desgin that will stand the test of time with the sentiment of its place in a collection will always bring a smile when clasp closes on the wrist.
The 2010 three hand was not acceptable. The styling was to much of a departure from the original. This 2011 is brilliant and with a price tag between $1,000 - $1,999 it is a wonder anyone would ever pay that for a TV brand when a true Swiss company like Tissot makes an offering like this

Very nice looking. But I prefer divers with 3 hands. I never really understood the diver/chrono-esp the ones where the pushers can't be operated underwater.I do have a couple of quartz diver/chronos but still don't get it!

Chrono divers are for practical diving purposes, useless for the most part...that been said, there are those who argue the fact that they serve a double duty, when out of the water and for good reason IMHO.

The original is one I wish I would have kept. :-(

I like the 47mm on the new though!

I use a chrono for life-saving events....timing steaks on the grill.
