Basel News: Rolex Releases A New Orange-Hand Explorer II (Ref 216670)

Here is folks, the release you've been waiting for. Rolex has announced a brand new Explorer II, and yes, it comes with an orange hand, just like the original. But that's not at all!

The Ref 216670 216570 Explorer II actually features a brand new movement, the cal 3187, which is manufactured completely in-house by Rolex. The upgrades include Paraflex shock absorbers and parachrom hairspring.The case is 42mm and the watch comes with both black and white dials (the black is the winner, having seen them both in person).

42 is the perfect size for this watch...
unless you (like Nick ) have a 3" pencil wrist...
