Dudley Masonic Pocket Watch from 1926
The wife and kids gave me this tonight for my 49th birthday! I've always wanted one. It was the timepiece that inspired me to start BARCLAY Watch Co., and to create "The MASONIC."

Goddamn, Ed, that's a really cool old pocket watch! I like it. But, what does all that stuff on the dial, like the eyeball and the calipers and stuff mean?

As a Past Master, I had to have one of these in my collection.
I could tell you what it all means, but then I'd have to hunt you down and kill you, lol

It is very cool.
And the penalties for talking are very harsh indeed.

Illuminati Sun Symbolism or God, the all seeing eye which I think is Horus from the times of when Egypt ruled the middle east. The Square and caliper which come from Freemason (masons) relate I think back to earlier times when most laborers did not read so symbols were used. In rituals I have read that the symbols might relate to "square up in behavior" etc. I was invited to be a member 30 years ago by a Mason but turned him down.

If you search the internet, you will find people who swear to be Masons, who are willing to "tell all." Most, if not all of them are fakes or ill-informed people who prove they have no honor, by their very actions. It's a shame that there is so much misinformation out there. The truth is that Freemasonry has very few secrets, beyond those used to help identify a fellow brother. Much of what is on the internet and stated as fact, is simply posted from wannabee's who in reality, could never be Masons, due to their obvious lack of character in the first place.
Koi posted what he has read. An internet search would bring up probably 10-20 additional "meanings" of the various pieces in the watch. I personally find it interesting to read or hear what non-Masons believe about some aspect of Masonry. Sometimes they're very close to being right...and sometimes they're not even close.
