A couple from a Luddite

My extensive set up is as follows:
Old faux leather black portfolio as a background.
Portfolio usually placed on a box of kleenex to get it to a height to better acommodate the mini tripod with the broken leg.
Normal 100 watt light bulb from a desk lamp sometimes using a small pig shaped keychain light that illuminates when you squeeze the pig. I usually also hold the lamp in different positions for optimum lighting effect and use the little pig light for fine effect.
I have also used a white T-shirt to diffuse the light but have to be quick to avoid burns.
I always use the timer on my P&S Lumix and of course the macro setting.
My wife got me a light tent a couple years back but I rarely use it-takes too long to set up.
