Longines Flagship Automatic 340 9ct 1961/2 value

Hi I have found the above tucked away in a drawer in our house, no idea where we got it and how long its been there. The serial number is 11723362 it has light scratches on lense but it works perfectly and keeps excellent time. It does not have a strap, wondered if I should get it serviced before selling it, not sure if its expensive to get a service done or what the value is, any help / guidance is much appreciated

Hi my name is Brian, I live in the UK and personally like to buy the modern Gucci men's watches. I have also recently bought 2 Gucci gold watches for my wife's 50th birthday. I just buy them because they look great and I love wearing them (the men's watches that is). The Longines watch I have no idea how long it has been in our house and where it came from, any help / guidance much appreciated

Can't help you place a value on the Longines but I would recommend doing a thorough search of your home. If by chance you find anything else of value I can supply my contact information to forward the customary 30% finders fee.
